Holidays in Baltimore: Ending 2017 with a Bang

Thank you for helping us send out 2017 with a bang!

A happy holidays and happy new year to all of you lovely brunchettes who have come out to our brunches each month. You know we do this all for you and each of your officers truly look forward to seeing each of you ladies every month when we come together to drink, geek out and have some delicious food. We may not have ended the last brunch of 2017 with a bang, but it was a very loud roar.

It was a snowy, yet sunny Saturday when the brunchettes made their way to Papermoon Café downtown. At first we weren’t sure if we were going to have to reschedule because of the snow from the previous day, but the temperature rose and we got back to business, after all it was Ugly Sweater and a White Elephant Mug Exchange and who doesn’t want to miss that. There was a bit of a wait, but that was to be expected for a popular downtown diner, especially on the day of the Ugly Sweater Run, but the brunchettes were able to chat before we made our way to the table.

As always, the food was delicious and while we waited for our food, mugs were exchanged. Sadly no stealing occurred this year, but all the brunchettes were really happy with the mugs that they got and in the long run that is what matters.

The officers apologize for the lack of an update for the November brunch, just like with our members, life sort of hit hard for the officers around Thanksgiving this year. But we are back and ready to go for 2018 as we kick 2017 to the curb and try to forget the year even happened. We are taking January off, pretty much to recoup from the holidays but we will be back and raring to go come February, when we will have our Annual Galentine’s Day Brunch on 2/17/18, so be sure to keep your eyes on your inboxes for the evite. Your officers have really buckled down and have come up with some different, yet exciting brunch experiences for you ladies this coming year and we can’t wait to see you all in 2018!
