GGB Nottingham’s Board Game Brunch

GGB Nottingham’s Board Game Brunch

After a few last minute illnesses it was a small group of Brunchettes that headed to the Dice Cup this Saturday, but we had such a fun time that we’ll be returning soon! We weren’t sure which game to play at first, but the staff at The Dice Cup couldn’t have been more helpful. We settled on ‘Ticket to Ride’, which involved completing train journeys on the game board using different cards & game pieces.

It was great fun, and the smaller group of us meant we could all play against each other. A couple of Brunchettes had played before so they were super helpful for the beginners.

We also ate at the cafe, which serves snacks & soft drinks, so we could stay a while longer. All the food available is Vegan, including some delicious cakes. In busy periods you get 4 hours on a table, but if it’s quieter you can stay for longer. They also offer memberships that give you discounts on tables.

We had such a great time, and as if that wasn’t enough – there was a DOG!!

His name was Merlin & he was so friendly!

GGB Nottingham will be back in June for a Disney Picnic in the Park – tell your friends 🙂
