GGB Phoenix – 2023 Brunch Schedule
The Geek Girl Brunch Phoenix chapter has set its 2023 brunch schedule, and we can’t wait to share it with our brunchettes! February 2023 Brunch
In February, we launched the new brunch year with a Big Bang Theory fan brunch. Of course, it was only right that we celebrated lunch at the Cheesecake Factory, as Sheldon preferred. Our brunch attendees had a nice menu selection, and quite a few of us went home with cheesecake to-go. Bazinga!
April 2023 Brunch
The April Geek Girl Brunch Phoenix event theme was Mischief Brunch (for dinner). Although this brunch already passed, we had a great time celebrating all the wonderful mischief-maker fandoms. We also had some slight mischief with our brunch location reservation but that’s a whole other story.
June 2023 Brunch
Our June brunch theme is Moana Brunch. We love this Disney movie, and plan to meet up on Sunday, June 25 at 11am Phoenix time. If you love Moana, Maui, Hei-Hei or if the line where the sky meets the sea, it calls you…this is probably the brunch for you. Registered members of our chapter will receive the brunch invite via email.
August 2023 Brunch
On August 19, GGB Phoenix will host a ’90s Brunch for all registered members. Be honest, if you lived through the ’90s then there are probably a few songs that come to mind. Attendees can come dressed in their best ’90s outfits or tees and help us celebrate this bygone decade.
October 2023 Brunch
With our location in Phoenix, there is a growing awareness of families who celebrate the Day of the Dead. This year, DÃa de los Muertos falls in the middle of the week, but we found a festival taking place October 29, and we’re planning to invite our brunchettes to join us!
December 2023 Brunch
The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear! Although we honor all winter holidays, Elf holds a special place in our hearts as a cult classic, so we’re hosting an Elf brunch on December 10. If you know the elves’ four main food groups, please join us!
