Cocktails Perfect for the Star Wars Cantina

When it comes to alcoholic drinks, Geek Girl Brunchers are all over it. So for Star Wars Month we had to share our favorite drink recipes from a galaxy far far away.

Bantha Milk aka Blue Milk

  • 3 ounces of milk
  • 1 ounce of cream
  • 1 ounce of coconut rum
  • 1 ounce of amaretto
  • 2 ounces of blue curacao

Dagobah Swamp Soda


Made by Clutzy Cooking


  • 2 oz Bacardi® light rum
  • 1/2 oz peppermint schnapps
  • 1/2 oz Grey Goose® Le Citron vodka (or other lime vodka)
  • 1/2 lime (about 4 wedges)
  • 12 fresh mint leaves
  • ice
  • 3 oz club soda
  • 2 tsp sugar

The Dark Side Martini


Made by Eclectic Recipes


  • 1 1/2 oz black rum
  • 3/4 oz crème de cacao
  • 1 cup ice
  • Black food color
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
1. Add black rum, crème de cacao, ice and 1 or 2 drops black food color to a martini shaker.
2. In small bowl, add brown sugar and 1 drop black food color. Mix with fork until all sugar is black. Wet rim of martini glass with water. Dip rim into sugar.
3. Strain martini into glass, and serve

Mustafar Cocktail

  • 3/4 oz. Cinnamon Whiskey
  • 1/2 oz. Vodka
  • 1 1/2 oz. Cranberry Juice
  • Splash of Orange Juice
  • Splash of Irish Cream
  • About 3 Drops Red Food Coloring

Qui Gon Gin

  • Qui Gon Gin and Tonic-
  • 1 oz Gin
  • 2 oz Melon liquor
  • 1 splash Lime juice
  • Fill with Tonic water
  • 1 Lime wedge 

Directions: For the Qui Gon Gin and Tonic, mix the first three ingredients in a highball glass and top with tonic water. Garnish with a lime wedge and, if possible, use a green glow stick as a stir. Drink and stray away from the topic of midi-chlorians.

Darth Maultini

  • 1 oz. Sweet vermouth
  • 1 oz. Vodka
  • 1 oz. Whiskey (we used Maker’s Mark)
  • 2 oz. Pomegranate Cherry
  • 2 Lemon wedges, cut in half to make 4 mini wedges

Directions:For the Darth Maultini, chill and combine all ingredients in a cocktail glass. Cut two lemon wedges in half to make four mini wedges and garnish the glass with the “horns” of Darth Maul. Don’t get cut in half and come back as a spider.

The Yoda

  • 1 Part Vodka
  • 1 Part Midouri
  • 2 Parta Sour Apple Schnaaps
  • 1 Part Blue Curacao
  • 1 Part Sour mix

Directions: Pour all in a shaker and shake till frosty.  Strain into a shot glass and enjoy.  Because there are a lot of ingredients for this particular shot, it might be a good idea to simply measure one “part” as an oz and make 6 separate shots instead of just one.

The Jedi & The Sith

Jedi Ingredients:
  • 1 oz Pineapple rum
  • 1 oz coconut rum
  • .5 oz Blue curacao
  • Sprite

Sith Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Black Cherry Rum
  • 1 oz cherry pucker
  • .5 oz grenadine
  • .5 oz vanilla rum
  • Sprite


  • Pour alcohol in a cocktail shaker with ice
  • Shake vigorously
  • strain into an old fashioned glass
  • fill with sprite
  • add ice
  • choose your side of the force

The Han Solo

  • 1.5oz Coffee Liqueur
  • 3oz Irish Cream
  • 2.25 oz vodka 

The C3PO


Made by The Kitchn
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water
  • 1/2 cup (4 ounces) bourbon 
  • 1 1/2 lemons, juiced, about 4 tablespoons (2 ounces)
