Geek Girl Brunch Gainesville Gets Kawaii
Gainesville’s February Brunch
Gainesville Brunchettes met at Cintrón to get cute together. Our theme for the month was “kawaii.”
Kawaii (かわいい) is a Japanese term used to describe something cute that makes your heart flutter. Sanrio, the makers of Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, and other iconic characters, is known for their kawaii products.
The swag bags for this brunch were made by officers Emily and Megan. They had cute items, such as Sanrio erasers and pencils, stickers and squishy animals, and candy.
It was great to spend time with everyone on a beautiful day!
